Secret of manifestation in a song

Loved the movie Into the Wild by Sean Penn, watched it 5x, here's an excerpt. Alex and the girl he met at Salton Sea perform together just before Alex leaving for his hiking and endurance training and then his last stop, the Alaskan wilderness.

Here's the lyrics of the whole song, see if you can spot the secret.

in this song:

Ben Harper Angel from Montgomery Lyrics:
I am an old woman named after my mother
Old man is another child (that's) grown old
If dreams were thunder and lightning was desire
This old house would've burned down a long time ago

Make me an angel that flies from Montgomery
Make me a poster of an old rodeo
Just give me one thing that I can hold on to
To believe in this living is just a hard way to go

I was a young girl I had me a cowboy
Wasn't much to look at, just a free ramblin' man
That was a long time, (and) no matter how I try
The years just flow by like a broken-down dam

Make me an angel that flies from Montgomery
Make me a poster of an old rodeo
Just give me one thing (that) I can hold on to
To believe in this living is just a hard way to go

There's flies in the kitchen, I can hear all their buzzin'
I ain't done nothin' since I woke up today
How the hell can a person go to work in the morning
And come home in the evenin' and have nothin' to say

Make me an angel that flies from Montgomery
Make me a poster of an old rodeo
Just give me one thing (that) I can hold on to
To believe in this living is just a hard way to go
To believe in this living is just a hard way to go

Hmmm.....

"Just give me one thing that I can hold on to" vs "to believe in this living" is my best guess, since the rest of it's rather negative. Manifestation lies in what we believe in rather than what is.

Great blog!

I got it! The secret of manifestation are in these two lines

"If dreams were thunder and lightning was desire
This old house would've burned down a long time ago"

Because thoughts are things, at told by Napoleon Hill, and if we got our desire behind our very dreams and thoughts we can do whatever we put our minds to.

Yes, its put in a negative format in this song, but there it is, plain as day.
